Design of Intelligent Perception Robot System Based on Road Tunnel Scene

With the rapid economic growth, the number of road tunnels in China is increasing rapidly. However, China's road tunnel operation and management, as well as accident disposal, rescue and other aspects of the research started late, the lack of relevant experience, so that road tunnels often occur in traffic accidents, resulting in a large number of casualties and economic losses. In this paper, we design a set of multi-target intelligent perception robot system for tunnel scenarios, which can effectively monitor the tunnels in all-weather, and avoid the safety hazards brought by manual inspection and other road inspection vehicles to the greatest extent. After the scene simulation experiments and data set training, the perception robot can achieve road damage detection, fire and smoke detection, truly intelligent monitoring. The improved RGB image detection algorithm based on YOLOv7 is much better than other algorithms in terms of accuracy. The intelligent perception robot we designed has good practicality and innovation, and has great application value in road tunnel inspection.
