Effect of lamprey sex ratio changes based on the Lotka-Volterra model and food chain ecological model
In this paper, we studied the effects of prey on the abundance of lampreys and the effects of changes in the sex ratio of lampreys on the ecosystem. Firstly, the Lotka-Volterra model was established to obtain the relationship between the number of lampreys and prey in the natural state, which showed that the number of lampreys and prey showed a periodic curve and maintained in a dynamic equilibrium. Then, to study whether the lamprey population with variable sex ratio can provide advantages to other ecosystem participants, a multi-species interaction food chain ecological model was established to simulate the impact of sex ratio changes on ecological niche and resource allocation, and finally the impact of the change of sex ratio of lamprey on its own number, prey, parasites and competitors was analyzed one by one.
