Research on the application of virtual reality technology in polymer material science experiments

Driven by the wave of educational informatization, the integration of digital information technology and innovation in the field of higher education is accelerating. Among them, virtual simulation experiment teaching based on virtual reality technology (VR) has become an important force to promote the transformation and upgrading of higher education and teaching mode by virtue of its practical advantages of digitalization, visualization and interaction. In this regard, this paper will take polymer materials as the research object, and put forward a set of construction scheme of virtual reality simulation experiment teaching platform to promote the application of virtual reality technology in the field of higher education in view of the problems faced by the existing scientific experiment teaching process, such as insufficient experimental resources, single teaching form and imperfect experimental teaching system. Practice has proved that relying on the virtual reality simulation experimental teaching platform, the traditional experimental teaching process of polymer materials science has been reshaped, and a large number of virtual teaching resources have broken through the time and space limitations of the original teaching model, giving students and teachers richer experimental teaching experience, improving teaching efficiency and learning effect, reducing experimental operation risks, strengthening the flexibility and controllability of course management, and providing new ideas and methods for experimental teaching of polymer materials.
