Design and optimization of a high-precision distributed wireless sensor network for dynamic seismic wave data acquisition
Traditional seismic wave data collection systems are primarily designed for high-energy, stable signal sources such as explosions and impacts. However, these systems struggle with low-energy, unstable dynamic sources, such as pedestrians and vehicles, and often lack the sampling rates needed for high-resolution dynamic target monitoring. To address these limitations, this paper presents a distributed wireless sensor network (WSN) for seismic wave data acquisition. The proposed system incorporates advanced wireless communication technology, supports a sampling frequency up to 96 kHz, and employs a 24-bit Sigma-Delta (Σ-Δ) ADC, enabling high-rate and remote-controlled data acquisition. Additionally, the system includes a user-friendly human-computer interaction interface, allowing real-time seismic waveforms observation and remote parameters adjustment. The overall design offers simplicity, high accuracy, and robust stability, related extensive experiments can demonstrate its significant practical value and promising application prospects.
