A three-op-amp instrumentation amplifier used to amplify the ECG signal
In this study, we investigate the characteristics of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals and design an instrumentation amplifier to filter out 60 Hz power line noise effectively. We analyze the spectral features of ECG signals and create a high-gain, low-noise amplifier based on a three-op-amp configuration. Using LTspice for simulation, we validate key parameters like gain and frequency response. The results show that the amplifier successfully retains essential features of the ECG signals while effectively suppressing the 60 Hz noise. This design offers a reliable solution for high-quality ECG signal monitoring in clinical applications.
