Research on the influence of high-temperature on the permeability and conductivity of ferromagnetic materials in eddy current testing
High temperatures can significantly affect the magnitude of permeability and conductivity in ferromagnetic materials, which in turn influences the skin depth of eddy current testing. The depth of the eddy current skin depth determines the depth of the flaws that can be detected. Therefore, analyzing the impact of temperature variations on eddy current signals is of great importance. This paper addresses the challenges of eddy current inspection at high temperatures by designing experiments that observe the variation of permeability with temperature and identifying the pattern of how eddy current skin depth changes with temperature.
