Design and research on emergency fire alarm system for underground parking lot based on Internet of Things
Currently, the fire protection facilities in underground garages in residential areas are not designed to meet the specific extinguishing needs of electric vehicle fires. As a result, they cannot effectively address the fire protection challenges posed by the rapid increase in the number of electric vehicles, and they also lack real-time monitoring and early warning functions for fire risks. To solve these problems, this paper designs and develops a system based on a ZigBee wireless sensor network. The system adopts the CC2530 microcontroller as the terminal node, integrates multiple sensors for data collection, and transmits the collected data to the Someone Cloud IoT platform through a ZigBee gateway. Users can remotely view the status of terminal nodes via web pages or WeChat applets developed on the Someone Cloud platform. When the system detects abnormal data, it will automatically send alerts to the user and take corresponding emergency measures. The system is characterized by low cost, easy development, and flexible expansion. It supports multi-location, multi-user real-time monitoring, as well as flexible sensor node arrangement. Overall, the system has the advantages of easy installation, strong scalability, and low power consumption, making it suitable for various applications with good adaptability.
