The new criminal law norms are analysed from the perspective of describing the design features of the elements of the crime related to family violence; taking into account the analysis of the criminal law norms governing the prosecution of perpetrators of violence in the family and household sphere and the identified gaps in their design, their main advantages and disadvantages are identified. Discussion and Conclusions: the author concludes that the elements of crimes involving responsibility for violence against a family member in both the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic have gaps that complicate their qualification in law enforcement, which should be taken into account when possible, constructing such a structure in the legislation of the Russian Federation.
