Analysis of surface moisture changes in Beibei District of Chongqing City

Surface temperature is an important parameter to study the ecological environment of a region. Remote sensing data has reached a certain precision in monitoring the ground. In this paper, surface humidity data of eight years of remote sensing images from 2001 to 2023 in Beibei district of Chongqing are retrieved. According to the inversion results, the area of medium-wet area has always occupied a large proportion before 2020, while the sub-low-wet area, low-wet area and extremely low-wet area have a trend of decrease year by year, and the high-wet area and sub-high-wet area have a trend of increase year by year. By 2023, the sub-high humidity area, the middle humidity area and the very high humidity area will rebound and increase, while the other humidity areas will decrease. This research result can reflect the change of surface humidity at that time, and can provide favorable support for urban construction and development in combination with other indicators of ecological environment evaluation.
