Research on seafloor sediment acoustic scattering detection technology based on manned submersibles
Seafloor sediment acoustic scattering detection is an important in situ testing technology for deep-sea sediments. In view of the extreme environmental characteristics of the deep sea and the scientific demand for refined in-situ measurements, a-research on a deep-sea non-contact sediment acoustic scattering in-situ measurement device based on a manned submersible has been carried out. In view of the fact that seafloor sediment acoustic scattering measurements cannot be realized in-situ in complex deep-sea scenarios and the problem of refined measurements, a technical method based on the non-contact principle of the piezoelectric material of PVDF in a manned submersible is proposed to solve the problem of deep-sea mid- and high-frequency acoustic scattering measurements. We proposed a technical method to solve the problem of high-frequency acoustic scattering measurement in the deep sea based on the non-contact principle of PVDF piezoelectric material in manned submersible, and completed the development of prototype and pool performance test, and achieved good test results. The whole system adopts the self-capacitating working mode for data acquisition and storage, and can be connected with the computer of the manned submersible to realize in-situ reading of data.
