Exploring variable-range sensing with integrated LiDAR and Raman technologies
This study introduces a LiDAR system for adaptive distance measurements, integrated with Raman spectroscopy to enhance material identification. Advanced hardware, software, and rigorous calibration ensure precise measurement and reliable performance, with coaxial alignment optimizing signal quality. Ethanol, a key substance in industrial and environmental contexts, is targeted for its significance in fuel production, chemical processes, and pollution monitoring. Accurate detection supports safety, compliance, and environmental protection. Experimental results confirm the system’s effectiveness in ethanol detection, range adaptability, and calibration. The integration of LiDAR with Raman spectroscopy highlights its potential for remote sensing and chemical analysis, providing a versatile platform for long-range material detection.
