Memes are analyzed as polycode manifestations of the comic, anecdotes and political jokes in the texts of the media and speeches of Ukrainian politicians. It is proven that in the Ukrainian political discourse the comic has become a tool for influencing public opinion, allowing to criticize the authorities, highlight social problems and mobilize society. Ukrainian political discourse in modern conditions of war demonstrates dynamism and the ability to adapt to challenges, combining seriousness and critical analysis with comic forms of expression. Comic techniques, such as humor, irony, satire and sarcasm, play a multidimensional role in this process.
