This is manifested in the consistent use of the Ukrainian language as the state language, its spread and popularization, and the elevation of conversational practice to literary standards. The reverse process is also observed, when living language practice affects the formation of norms of the Ukrainian language. The Ukrainian radio produces certain language standards determined by the time and circumstances in which the society functions. Spreading innovative processes that occur in various Ukrainian languages, and producing them at the same time, it actively shapes the language preferences of its listeners, encouraging them to create words. It has been proven that all this is made possible by the democratization of Ukrainian radio, its modernization in the time of Ukraine’s independence.
