Multi-layered CuO/SiO2 core–shell structure improves electrocatalytic CO2-to-<i>n</i>-propanol conversion

Multi -layered CuO/SiO 2 core–shell catalyst was fabricated for electrocatalytic CO 2 reduction, by which the Faraday efficiency for n -propanol production could reach 13.3% at −1.65 V in a flow cell, with a partial current density of 94.0 mA cm −2 .
