The algorithm for determining the remaining resource storage batteries for monitoring sub-systems of digital traction substations

An algorithm for determining the residual life of a traction substation battery has been developed for use in the monitor-ing subsystem. The calculation method based on the determination of the capacity of the battery with the possibility of taking into account the influence of other factors, including the duration of deep discharge, self-discharge, temperature, jolt currents, etc. Approbation of the developed algorithm is carried out with the help of a simulation model based on the data obtained during measurements at one of the accumulator batteries of the operating traction substations. The obtained results are evaluated as adequate and consistent with the resource characteristics of batteries used at traction substations. The developed algorithm and its software implementation allow to use them in the construction of battery monitoring subsystems of traction substations along with other algorithms that allow to control the parameters and operating modes of batteries
