Operation of nonlinear load in autonomous electric power supply systems from a gasoline generator
The influence of active, reactive and parametric electric load on the gasoline generator operation is studied. The influ-ence of various load parameters and components of the total power on the operation of the gasoline generator with regard to fuel consumption has been studied. In the course of the experiment the curves of the generator output voltage and the current consumed from it at change of load parameters in the nominal range of generator power are obtained. Experimentally taken curves of currents and voltages are decomposed by means of Fourier transform into harmonic components, after which the calculation of the components of the total power is carried out. According to the results of calculations, the effect on fuel consumption of the values of the components of full load power at their controlled vari-ation is established.
