Issuance of Electronic Permission Orders

The preservation of the health and life of workers in the workplace is the initial task of production. Workplace safety at hazardous industrial sites is often associated with the organization of a permit-to-work system. Like any system, it is prone to human error, which contributes to the development of injuries and accidents. The publication addresses the topic of the traditional permit-to-work system, its main problems, and ways to solve them. A comparative analysis of paper and electronic permits is presented, as well as possible outcomes of transitioning to an electronic format.
