Design Of A UAV-Based Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Platform
As China's industrialization process accelerates, an increasing number of environmental pollution issues have emerged, posing severe threats to human health and the ecosystem. In urban areas, there is a growing demand for air quality, and how to flexibly and effectively monitor the atmospheric environment in real-time has become an important issue. The traditional method of atmospheric environmental monitoring uses fixed ground monitoring points, but this approach has many limitations, such as limited monitoring range, difficulty in real-time sampling in the air, and monitoring of sudden environmental pollution areas. In light of this, a drone-based atmospheric environmental monitoring platform has been developed. This platform overcomes the limitations of the detection range by carrying atmospheric quality-related sensors on drones, allowing for real-time monitoring over a regional coverage at low altitudes. The sensors (taking PM2.5 monitoring as an example) underwent two phases of calibration experiments and data correction during the testing phase to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the monitoring data. The application of this platform provides strong technical support for environmental protection and sustainable development, and compared to traditional monitoring methods, it compensates for the monitoring range and coverage, enhancing the timeliness and effectiveness of the monitoring.
