Russian Workshop of Innovative Modeling "ROSMIM": Educational and Outreach Project of CEMI RAS

In his address to the Federal Assembly in 2024, the President of Russia gave an Instruction to adhere to the continuity and full cooperation of educational organizations and employers, namely the coordination of the actions of the three-tier system in training personnel. The management of the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, implementing the decree, initiated and supported the project of young scientists "ROSMIM", along with this, 3 tripartite agreements were signed with the University (GAUGN) and Moscow schools: "School on Vernadsky Avenue", School No. 2087 "Otkrytie", School No. 1538, thereby connecting - research institutes, universities and schools. Full-fledged work is underway with schoolchildren and the institute's specialists supervise 4 interdisciplinary research projects. The Russian Workshop of Innovative Modeling (ROSMIM) is a general educational and educational project aimed at popularizing computer and simulation modeling among young people. The project was initiated within the framework of the national projects "Personnel" and "Youth and Children", is implemented with the assistance of leading scientific institutes and government agencies. Over 800 schoolchildren and students have attended these courses in two years, of whom more than 200 have created the first simulation models, and 25 have become graduates of the ROSMIM school. Young researchers also presented their projects to the public, published scientific articles and became co-authors of the book by young scientists of CEMI RAS - "Software and analytical solutions and concepts of simulation models of young scientists of CEMI RAS for state administration of socio-economic processes", and some students have become winners of prestigious competitions. Over the two years of the project's existence, many updates have been carried out: new methods have been introduced, the training scheme has been improved, 4 training models have been created: "Moscow Metro", "Solar System", "Rocket", "Epidemic". Individual elements of the project have been successfully tested in government agencies, including the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Kemerovo Region, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Higher School of Public Audit of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The authors of the project also became finalists of all-Russian competitions and winners in the nomination for young scientists "Scientific achievements in the field of informatization of education".
