RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF REVERSE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ON THE INNOVATION PERFORMANCE OF CHINESE MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS

In the context of economic globalization, reverse knowledge transfer has become a key factor driving the innovation and development of Chinese transnational corporations. If you want to know how reverse knowledge transfer affects the ability of Chinese MNEs to come up with new ideas, this study looks into the role of cross-border search and strategic orientation in this relationship. By selecting Chinese multinational companies as research objects and collecting data through a questionnaire survey, we construct a structural equation model and conduct regression analysis. We find that the innovation performance of Chinese multinational corporations significantly benefits from reverse knowledge transfer. Transboundary search also acts as a go-between for reverse knowledge transfer and innovation performance. On the other hand, strategic orientation limits the impact of reverse knowledge transfer on transboundary search. There was a lot of new information in this study about reverse knowledge transfer and innovation performance. It also gave Chinese multinational companies advice on how to improve their innovation performance in the global market.
