Energy and Artificial Intelligence, Modern Challenges and Prospects

In the modern world, the energy sector is facing significant challenges that require innovative solutions. The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has created unique opportunities to optimize and increase efficiency in the energy sector. The study analyzes the main areas of use of artificial intelligence in the field of energy: 1) prediction of energy consumption - machine learning algorithms allow to predict energy consumption with high accuracy, which contributes to efficient planning of the energy system; 2) optimization of "smart grids" - AI technologies provide real-time management and optimization of smart energy grids, which reduces losses and increases system reliability; 3) Productive technical service - artificial intelligence allows to identify potential technical problems in advance, which significantly reduces the risks of equipment failure; 4) Integration of renewable energy - AI algorithms help power systems better integrate solar and wind energy, despite their variable nature. The study highlights the crucial role of artificial intelligence in the transformation of the energy sector and notes that the correct implementation of AI technologies is a prerequisite for creating a sustainable and efficient energy system.
