Can protest groups be your dating pool? Do you need to have first-hand experience with an issue to protest in support? In this work of philosophical short story fiction, Meghan is a young woman who has been protesting with friends every weekend for six years. She wishes they moved from protesting to community improvement, but she doesn’t leave the group because she has a crush on Jay, one of the other members of the group. One week Meghan changes her MAGA hat into a MGGA hat; which she says means “Make Gaza Great Again.” The group leader is not happy with Meghan’s hat and she tells her to leave the group. Meghan is upset, but she leaves the group, and her only source of friends.
