Adaptation and psychometric evaluation of the Learning Climate Questionnaire (LCQ) short version for Indonesian students using the Rasch model
The short version of the Learning Climate Questionnaire (LCQ), consisting of six items, has been widely applied in several countries, including Indonesia. The adaptation followed a nine-step process outlined by Beaten et al. (2000) and was tested with 480 Indonesian students. The psychometric evaluation used the Rasch Model. The results demonstrate that the Indonesian short LCQ has good validity and retains the six items from the original version, so that can be used with Indonesian students. Additionally, the Indonesian version showed excellent reliability in terms of person, item, and index separation.
