Optimization of power supply systems for remote telecommunication facilities, taking into account weather conditions
The issues of using promising distributed power supply systems (using renewable energy sources: solar radiation, wind) for power supply to remote telecommunications facilities are considered. For these facilities, the problem of reducing the cost of produced electricity by replacing imported fuel with renewable energy sources is relevant. A method for deter-mining the optimal configuration of distributed power supply systems with renewable energy sources is presented, where the optimal number of photovoltaic installations, wind power plants, and buffer storage batteries is determined using the algorithm of discrete optimization of a convex function based on the response surface method. The results of a computational experiment for determining the optimal configuration with a variable cost of wind power plants and buffer storage batteries are presented.
