Enhancing Anomaly Detection in Chipless RFID Systems: A GAN-Based Approach
This paper presents an innovative method for anomaly detection in frequency response data within chipless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems, addressing the significant limitations of conventional approaches. By leveraging Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), the proposed technique generates synthetic data that closely approximates the normal distribution, thereby significantly enhancing anomaly detection accuracy. Unlike traditional methods that often struggle with the complex patterns inherent in such data, this approach excels in decoding these intricacies. The effectiveness of the method was validated through extensive experiments on real-world datasets, consistently demonstrating robustness in identifying both subtle and overt anomalies. The results highlight the potential of the proposed approach to substantially improve anomaly detection capabilities in sophisticated RFID systems, offering a promising solution to longstanding challenges in the field. This advancement suggests a shift towards more reliable and efficient monitoring methods. The findings indicate that applying GANs in this context not only refines detection accuracy but also extends the operational reliability of RFID technologies.
