MULTIDIMENSIONAL MODEL OF THE STRUCTURE OF READINESS FOR MOTHERHOOD IN CRISIS SITUATIONS

The article presents a theoretical analysis of psychological readiness for motherhood concepts developed by Ukrainian researchers over the past 15 years. The relevance of this study is determined by contemporary social challenges, particularly the impact of war and crisis situations on women's psychological well-being and their readiness for motherhood. Despite a significant number of studies on this phenomenon, the scientific literature lacks a unified concept that integrates the psychological, sociocultural, and existential aspects of readiness for motherhood while also considering its dynamic nature and mechanisms of adaptation. The aim of the study is to develop a multidimensional concept of readiness for motherhood, incorporating traditional psychological components (cognitive-reflective, affective-regulatory, practical-competency) as well as new aspects that reflect the dynamic nature of adaptation (psychophysiological, social-resource, value-motivational with an existential level, and dynamic-adaptive component). The methodological foundation of the study includes theoretical analysis of scientific works, comparative analysis of concepts, and a system-structural approach to generalizing the proposed model. The study identifies the main shortcomings of existing models of readiness for motherhood, particularly their static nature and insufficient consideration of external social and crisis factors. The proposed concept allows for viewing readiness for motherhood not just as a set of separate components but as a dynamic system that evolves under the influence of personal, social, and cultural factors. Future research directions include empirical validation of the proposed model, particularly examining its practical applications in psychological counseling and psychotherapeutic support for women preparing for motherhood, especially in crisis situations influenced by war. Keywords: motherhood, psychological readiness, readiness for motherhood, phenomenon of readiness, problem of readiness, structure of readiness for motherhood, crisis situations, impact of war, psychological resilience, adaptation mechanisms, components of readiness, concept of readiness for motherhood.
