Travel Persona-Based Destination Recommendations for Enhancing Tourism in Saudi Arabia

In recent years, the tourism in Saudi Arabia has experienced rapid growth, accompanied by a rising demand for personalized travel experiences. With the integration of AI, this vision can become a reality by developing traveler personas that recommend destinations based on individual preferences. Our approach involves creating a high-quality dataset sourced from various platforms and preprocessing it to ensure accuracy and consistency. The recommendation system uses this data to deliver improved persona-based suggestions that enhance tourist satisfaction. The primary goal of this project is to increase visitor satisfaction and support Vision 2030’s objective of positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading global tourism destination.
