Evaluation of Biological Seed Treatment for Management of Sudden Death Syndrome of Soybean in Wanatah, IN, 2024
Sudden death syndrome (SDS), caused by Fusarium virguliforme, is a devasting disease of soybean in the United States, with significant yield losses occurring under favorable environmental conditions. This report evaluates the efficacy of biological seed treatment on soybean variety ‘AG26XF1’. The trial was conducted in 2024 in a research field in Wanatah, IN. SDS, root rot severity, and grain yield were assessed for each seed treatment. The findings from this study will provide valuable information to guide soybean growers in selecting effective seed treatments for SDS management.
