This article presents a methodology for evaluating the efficiency of a conveyor-based production line in the textile industry using an automated data collection system. The primary goal of the study is to assess production performance through real-time data acquisition and analysis. The developed approach enables efficiency measurement through two alternative methods: analyzing individual worker productivity and evaluating the overall production line output. The research utilizes production data collected from a textile manufacturing company, incorporating both the company's ETON transportation systems and a previously proposed data collection device. Based on these data, mathematical models were developed to calculate efficiency metrics. The study evaluates 12 production periods, demonstrating that worker productivity does not always correlate with final production output. The results indicate that discrepancies between the two calculation methods are within 6 percentage points in 8 out of 12 cases. Larger deviations may signal operational inefficiencies such as bottlenecks, idle time, workflow disruptions, rework, or data entry errors. The findings confirm that both efficiency evaluation methods are valid and can be applied to monitor production line performance. The insights gained from this study can contribute to optimizing manufacturing processes and improving overall operational efficiency. The proposed methodology provides a valuable tool for identifying production constraints and enhancing workflow organization in automated manufacturing environments. Keywords: conveyor production line, automation, data collection, production data analysis.
