Boosting stability in Ni-rich cathodes: a synergistic approach to surface and bulk modifications for advanced lithium-ion batteries
A TiNb 2 O 7 coating on LiNi 0.83 Mn 0.06 Co 0.11 O 2 enhances structural stability, reduces side reactions, and improves lithium diffusion, boosting capacity retention from 58.6% to 81.9% after cycling – offering a robust strategy for Ni-rich cathodes.
