MATHEMATICAL MODEL TO ASSESS THE CONTROL OF FISH POPULATIONS IN AN ARTIFICIAL LAKE
Pareloup Lake is among the important hydroelectric dam in south of France. Variations in water level can have strong impact on the persistence of some fish species. The results show that when lake water levels are low, the prey and the predator may disappear. If water levels reach a suitable level, species can survive. In the second part, by acting on the water level, we seek to maximize the density of the prey and the predator in a short period. We obtain the mode of operations to avoid the collapse of the stock. Numerical simulations are given to illustrate theoretical results.
