Semi-automated Overhead Water Tank Cleaner

The traditional methods of cleaning overhead water tanks are labor-intensive, risky, and wasteful, involving manual scrubbing, high-pressure washing, and chemical cleaning, all of which pose significant challenges. The semi-automated overhead water tank cleaner addresses these limitations by integrating advanced mechanisms and automation to enhance efficiency, safety, and water conservation. This system utilizes a universal motor to drive a 6-bar link mechanism with bristles, allowing it to clean tank interiors without complete drainage, thereby reducing water wastage and minimizing health risks associated with manual labor. The cleaner's adaptability to various tank sizes and configurations makes it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Results demonstrate that the semi-automated cleaner significantly reduces operational disruptions by streamlining the cleaning process, promoting water conservation, and supporting sustainability. By enhancing efficiency and safety, this innovative cleaner represents a substantial improvement in overhead water tank maintenance practices.
