Fuzzy Based Reliable and Delay Aware Routing Scheme for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks
In this study, a delay-aware, fuzzy-based, dependable routing method for underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs) is presented. The emergence of micro-electro-mechanism systems (MEMS) and wireless communication technologies has led to the increasing use of UWSNs in a range of applications, including military observation and natural disaster monitoring. Because of the energy hole phenomena, energy conservation in UWSNs is a major difficulty, especially in the vicinity of static sink nodes. To tackle this issue, the suggested plan incorporates fuzzy logic, enabling adaptable reasoning and managing the uncertainties present in submerged situations. Modules for fuzzification, fuzzy rule creation, defuzzification, and inference make up the fuzzy logic system. The scheme’s capacity to balance energy consumption and mitigate delays is proved through simulations, which ultimately improves the overall dependability of UWSNs. As compared to current approaches, the results show better performance, indicating fuzzy logic’s promise for route optimization in underwater situations.
