Harnessing LSTM Networks for Enhanced Text Classification: A Comprehensive Study

Text classification is an important natural language processing (NLP) technique that allows the user to turn unstructured data into structured data. Text classification enables various applications such as sentiment analysis, encompassing positive, negative, neutral, happy, sad, and review ratings, spam detection, and topic categorization. In addition to this , natural language processing is a field of artificial intelligence that develops machines that can understand human language, whether it be text or sound, and therefore can interact with individuals. Moreover, a huge amount of textual data is needed in the modern digital era, making computers automatically classify enormous amounts of data. Long-short-term memory is used in the research paper, which is a type of recurrent neural network that works very well with sequential data handling. Moreover, due to LSTM’s ability to capture context and long-term dependencies in sequential data, the research appears more significant. With further research, the paper delves deeper into deep learning, exploring the architecture, operation, and potential applications of LSTM. The results show a 78% accuracy, suggesting that LSTM-based models greatly advance text categorization and increase traditional techniques in terms of both robustness and accuracy.
