Research on the Practice of Post-editing of Chinese-English Translation for Cross-border E-commerce—Based on Catford’s Translation Shifts
The combination of machine translation with post-editing and human-computer interaction has emerged as the dominant approach in the language service industry. However, the absence of theoretical guidance often leaves post-editors perplexed when encountering different machine translation errors, which in turn leads to a decline in the quality of post-edited translation. This paper aims to address this issue by incorporating Catford’s translation shifts theory into MTPE (Machine Translation Post-editing) to explore the translation practice of cross-border e-commerce English.
