Digital Experience Exhibition System in the Metaverse

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition industry has transitioned towards a noncontact model, with virtual and hybrid exhibitions increasingly replacing traditional in-person formats. Virtual exhibitions provide significant advantages, including global accessibility regardless of location or time, real-time content updates, and enhanced user engagement through interactive multimedia. By allowing users to explore content freely and adaptively, these platforms cater to diverse accessibility needs and learning preferences. Hybrid exhibitions, blending online and offline components, offer additional reach and flexibility by integrating virtual participation with physical elements. This paper examines the transformative potential of virtual exhibitions, focusing on a web-based platform that emphasizes accessibility and user-centered design, supporting multimedia content and real-time adaptability. Also, application cases are demonstrated, and future research is discussed.
