Diversification in Collective Water Supply Systems
The theme of the publication is to provide a method of determining the diversification degree of water resources in collective water supply systems. For the purposes of the method Shannon-Weaver indicator was adapted. The paper presents a method of two-parameter assessment of water resources diversification with the proposal of collective water supply systems categorization of the diversification degree. The method takes into account the water intakes of and network water tanks. The number of water intakes and their share in the total supply for collective water supply systems, as well as the number and volume of network water tanks allows to calculate the dimensionless diversification ratios and to compare different collective water supply systems.
