Schizophrenia in the practice of a nurse
Schizophrenia is a complex chronic mental disorder that affects a person’s thinking, perception, emotional state and behavior. Despite significant advances in psychiatry, effective treatment of this disorder remains a real challenge. In this article, we will consider modern approaches to the treatment of schizophrenia, including pharmacological methods, psychotherapy and innovative rehabilitation strategies. It is estimated that schizophrenia affects about 1% of the world’s population and manifests itself in many forms. Key symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, cognitive impairment, and changes in the emotional sphere. Successful treatment of schizophrenia requires an integrated approach that combines drug therapy with psychosocial interventions
