AOA/TDOA location technology of weak satellite signal based on satellite-ground cooperation

There is an urgent need to locate satellite interference sources using a single signal receiving platform. This paper proposes a satellite-ground collaborative angle of arrival / time difference of arrival combination location technology, which avoids the issues of inter-station communication and multiple receiving station site selection that need to be considered when deploying multiple signal receiving platforms on the ground. By utilizing the satellite downlink signal and the weak sidelobe signal received by the antenna array for coherent direction finding, the directionality of the weak sidelobe signal of the interference source was obtained. Combining the satellite downlink signal with the time difference extracted from the correlation of the sidelobe signal, the combined AOA/TDOA localization of the interference source was achieved. In response to the problem of weak spread spectrum signals in satellite downlink, this paper studies a spread spectrum sequence estimation technique, obtains the signal spread spectrum sequence, and reconstructs the signal to obtain a high signal-to-noise ratio satellite downlink signal, thereby achieving satellite ground cooperative AOA/TDOA combination positioning of spread spectrum signal radiation sources. Theoretical analysis and simulation show that this positioning method is effective and has good positioning accuracy.
