DSP implementation of signal processing system for millimeter-wave water flow velocity online monitoring radar
This paper proposes a real-time signal processing architecture and signal processing flow of the flow velocity online monitoring radar based on FPGA and DSP, which makes the system structure more compact and reasonable, at the same time can achieve real-time signal processing. The study focuses on the signal processing flow of DSP and proposes a constant false alarm detection algorithm with improved quantile truncation statistics based on absolute deviation judgement. This algorithm is designed to enhance the detection performance of radar in dense target and clutter edge environment. Finally, the experimental results show that the signal processing system can achieve real-time and accurate target detection.
