OFDM integrated signal design based on communication pre-modulation
Radar communication integration is an important research direction in modern combat system. To address the issue of deteriorated detection performance caused by the influence of communication information on the ambiguity function of OFDM integrated signals, an OFDM integrated signal based on communication precoding is proposed. This method can effectively eliminate the influence of communication modulation signal on ambiguity function, increase the main-to-sidelobe ratio of the integrated signal and have better radar detection performance, while still having better communication error performance. By introducing the chaotic sequence with good correlation into the integrated waveform design, the Chebyshev sequence with better performance is selected to pre-modulate the baseband data, which makes the communication data with different OFDM symbols modulated in the same pulse have good correlation characteristics. Through the simulation of the integrated signal under different sequences of pre-modulation, the superiority of OFDM integrated signal under pre-modulation is demonstrated.
