ADAPTING INNOVATIVE ASSESSMENT AND FORECASTING METHODS FOR HIGHWAYS IN UKRAINE

This study examines the challenges and opportunities of adopting innovative technologies for assessing and forecasting the operational condition of highways in Ukraine. By analyzing international best practices, such as IoT, AI, and Big Data, and adapting them to local conditions, the research identifies practical solutions for improving monitoring and management systems. Results show that implementing digital platforms and predictive analytics can significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of highway maintenance, reduce costs, and improve traffic safety. Recommendations for developing a national monitoring system and integrating these innovations into Ukrainian infrastructure policy are provided.
