MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN A MODERN MUSEUMAS A TOOL FOR ATTRACTING VISITORS (USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE ARKAIM MUSEUM-RESERVE)

The article considers the possibilities of using multimedia technologies in the museum space, as well as the classification of such technologies. Theoretical aspects of using multimedia technologies in archaeological museums are considered. Statistical indicators of interest of visitors to the Chelyabinsk State Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve “Arkaim” in the topic of history and visiting museum complexes are given. Using the example of a regional museum located in the Chelyabinsk region, the real situation on the use of multimedia technologies in expositions is considered. Recommendations are given for the implementation of technologies of interactive interaction with visitors.
