STUDY OF INTERACTION OF LOPARITE CONCENTRATE WITH AMMONIUM SULFATE

The study results of the loparite concentrate interaction with ammonium sulfate were presented. Established, the reactions of the concentrate main components with (NH4)2SO4 is started after the thermal decomposition of (NH4)2SO4 with the ammonium hydrosulfate formation and proceed in the temperature range of 280-350°C along with the double ammonium sulfates and the elements-components of the concentrate being formed. It was shown that aqueous leaching of the interaction product at 340°C and exposure of the resulting solution at 80°C allows complete separation of titanium, niobium and tantalum in the form of hydroxide precipitate, separating rare-earth elements into solution.
