An Analysis of Self-Expression of MZ Generation Art Collectors Through Mobile Applications : The Potential for Self-Expression Through Online Collection Exhibition Services in Mobile Apps

With the growing influence of MZ generation art collectors in the contemporary art market, they are increasingly using art collections as a means of self-expression, sharing their personal tastes and preferences with others. This study aims to propose a mobile-based approach that enables MZ art collectors to express themselves more effectively. The research consists of three phases: a preliminary study, a main study, and a post-study. Ultimately, the findings were applied to develop a mobile application, covering information architecture design, UX/UI design, and implementation. A post-study user survey was conducted to evaluate its effectiveness. Given the lack of prior research on MZ art collectors’ self-expression, this study holds significance in demonstrating its feasibility through actual implementation.
