Typological Cases of Brand Symbols Approached Through Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

Design fulfills human needs, with brand symbols evoking satisfaction that influences consumption. This study categorizes brand symbols using Maslow's hierarchy of needs, classifying seven identity elements into typological categories. By examining existing symbols, we see how visual stimuli connect people's needs to brands. These findings help understand brand symbol characteristics across need levels, supporting consumer-oriented communication strategies and scientific design approaches.
