A Study on AI-Based Emotional Sound Design : Analyzing the Integration of Emotional Data and AI Learning Models

This study explores the integration of AI-based sound design and emotional design, analyzing how AI enhances the emotional expression of music. Using the SUNO AI model, an experiment compared the emotional immersion and preference between AI-generated and human-composed music. Results showed that AI music achieved an average emotional immersion score of 3.9 (out of 5) and a preference score of 3.4, slightly lower than human music (4.0). AI music demonstrated a moderate level of emotional expression (4.1), effectively conveying some emotions but struggling with complex transitions. These findings confirm the potential acceptance of AI music and highlight the need for real-time emotional feedback and advanced learning models for further improvement.
