ABSTRACT This work aims to identify violence in the school environment and the family’s responsibility to help combat it. The importance of this topic is due to the fact that violence is a complex social phenomenon that has become widespread and affects all social spheres. At school, this phenomenon has been the cause of great concern, therefore, it is necessary to understand the mechanisms of violence in the school environment, aiming to put an end to this evil that brings so many problems to the learning and healthy development of students. For this to happen, it is essential that the family is present at school to help find solutions to this problem. And don’t label any aggressive behavior with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Only by eradicating violence from the school environment is it possible for the school to be a harmonious and healthy environment for promoting student learning.
