Learn from the Leadership of the Super Bowl Winners
Well, this isn’t the column I thought I was going to write. My plan was to reflect on the Kansas City Chiefs’ first‐ever‐in‐the‐NFL three‐peat (where the same team wins the Super Bowl three times in a row). I was going to review the leadership characteristics of Head Coach Andy Reid and all‐star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. If you saw the game, you know the Chiefs lost. No, they got completely dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles. It looked very bleak early on, when the half‐time score was 24‐0. I texted my 14‐year‐old granddaughter, “It looks like a professional team playing your high school.” She responded, “it's bad!” The 40‐22 final score was painful for this Chiefs fan.
