As part of the development of economic theory in the 20th century, such directions as behavioral economics, the theory of values, and sociocultural economics were created, each of which, to one degree or another, indicates that the culture of a nation influences the socio-economic development of the country. Methods that determine the influence and extent of the factors under consideration have been developed by specialists from various fields, including economists, sociologists, ethnologists, psychologists, cultural scientists, and anthropologists. The article presents the main results obtained to date.
